Lítore Quartet focuses on the study and dissemination of the saxophone quartet repertoire. Its main aim is to support the works of contemporary composers, as well as to continue expanding the repertoire for the ensemble.
The ensemble has been awarded the first prize in the Concurso de Cámara Ciudad de Ávila, the second prize and the prize for the best performance of music by a Spanish composer in the Concurso Internacional para Jóvenes Intérpretes Pedro Bote, the first prize in the Certamen Art Jove and first prize in the Concurso Internacional de Música de Cámara de Arnuero, among others.
Lítore Quartet has also taken part in numerous festivals such as Peregrinos Musicales, Ciclo de Música Actual de Badajoz, Zürich SaxFest and Potries Music Fest. The group has also collaborated with institutions such as Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró, Fundación Botín, Juventudes Musicales de España and Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland.
